Teen Program Coordinator

Under the direction of the Youth Development Director, the Teen Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating engaging, safe, and inclusive programs for teens ages 12–17. This role supports the YMCA's mission by promoting youth development, leadership, academic success, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement. The Teen Coordinator serves as a positive role model, mentor, and advocate for teens while building strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners. Must be at least 21 years of age. A minimum of one year working with teens (ages 12-17). A minimum of six months related program development and/or program management experience. Previous experience working with diverse populations preferred. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to work cohesively with parents, participants and staff. Demonstrated computer skills in a Google Workspace CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross American Heart Association American Safety & Health Institute #J-18808-Ljbffr The National Council of Young Men’s Christian Associations of the United States of America
