Junior Systems Administrator - Microsoft Operations

Adaptive Solutions Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the Kansas City area to identify a Junior Systems Administrator who is passionate about Microsoft technologies and eager to grow within a modern cloud-focused environment. This individual will join a collaborative technology team responsible for supporting the tools employees rely on every day to communicate, collaborate, and stay productive. The role offers exposure to a broad Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, automation tools, and emerging AI technologies, while providing opportunities to build technical expertise and take ownership of operational initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical challenges, improving processes, and delivering a positive experience for end users. This position is a strong fit for someone early in their systems administration career who wants hands‑on experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms and contributing to technology improvements across the organization. What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting the daily operation of Microsoft 365 technologies and helping ensure a seamless user experience. Assisting employees with access, collaboration, and productivity-related issues across cloud‑based platforms. Partnering with senior team members to troubleshoot technical challenges and implement solutions. Contributing to process improvements, automation initiatives, and platform enhancements that increase efficiency. Helping maintain secure and compliant technology practices while supporting business needs. Participating in technology projects involving cloud services, collaboration platforms, and AI‑enabled tools. Creating documentation and sharing knowledge that helps improve team effectiveness and consistency. What We’re Looking For: 1‑3 years of experience in systems administration, technical support, or Microsoft 365 administration. Familiarity with Microsoft cloud technologies and collaboration tools. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical users. Curiosity and desire to learn emerging technologies, including automation and AI‑driven solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team‑oriented environment.
