As part of a larger regional health system with established academic affiliations, the hospital provides access to evidence-based practice, shared resources, and a strong clinical support network.As a Medical Technologist, you will perform a full range of clinical laboratory testing to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. Typical responsibilities include processing and analyzing specimens in core laboratory areas such as chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and immunohematology, ensuring that accurate and timely results are available to guide clinical decision-making. Depending on experience and departmental needs, there may also be opportunities to work in or cross-train to specialized areas such as blood bank, microbiology, or molecular diagnostics.A typical day involves working at assigned benches, running patient samples on automated analyzers, performing instrument maintenance, validating and documenting quality control, and reviewing results for accuracy and clinical correlation. Medical Technologists collaborate closely with other laboratorians, nurses, and providers, respond to critical values, and help troubleshoot pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic issues. The laboratory uses a computerized laboratory information system integrated with the hospital's electronic medical record to streamline ordering and reporting.Shifts may include days, evenings, or nights depending on the schedule and may require participation in weekend and holiday rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage. Work volumes vary by shift, but the laboratory is designed to balance efficient workflows with patient safety, with established procedures and support from experienced colleagues and supervisors. Required Qualifications

OR Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory, Chemistry AND Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory, Blood Bank Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation and Urinalysis. SoftLab LIS experience preferred.
