Restaurant Server

Job Overview Restaurant Server at Westin Tampa Bay, a AAA Four Diamond hotel located on the water, three miles from Tampa International Airport. Responsibilities Prepare the restaurant pre‑shift for service. Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant. Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu. Take orders accurately, confirming all special requests. Serve as the master of the menu, using product knowledge to enhance conversation. Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff. Assist guests with concerns and resolve issues to leave them satisfied. Finalize the experience with timely and accurate bill presentation. Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality. Descriptive sales skills. 2‑4 years of food service experience. Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
