Warehouse Associate

Overview Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor. This role is the backbone of our retail location, responsible for compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. Responsibilities Compile orders and replenish/move merchandise on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle. Check inventory and orders; interact with customers. Operate a forklift as needed. Restock show floor and organize merchandise to company standards to ensure easy shopping for customers. Load out customers with the correct product and assist in other areas of the store as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Minimum Eligibility Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Knowledge of basic math skills. Warehouse experience. Customer service experience. Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Completion of forklift certifications through F&D. Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test. Working Conditions Occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level typically quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory Requirements Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects as required. Stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and crouch or crawl as needed.
