Location: Howell, NJ

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $55–$60/hour
• Annualized Compensation: Approximately $114,400–$124,800/year based on a full-time schedule
• Additional Earnings: Base hourly compensation plus commission opportunities

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established dental practice in Howell, NJ . This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who is passionate about preventive dentistry, patient education, and developing long-term relationships with patients.

In addition to a highly competitive hourly rate, hygienists have the opportunity to earn commission on top of their base compensation , providing additional earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered preventive and periodontal care
• Perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive hygiene procedures
• Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings
• Take and interpret dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, and preventive care strategies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Review and update patient medical and dental histories
• Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain appropriate infection control and clinical safety standards
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented practice environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation
