Create tailored treatment plans that address individual short-term objectives and long-term goals related to communication, cognition, and swallowing needs.

Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice clarity, and swallowing functions.

Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians alongside families to develop comprehensive care strategies.

Educate patients and their families to support continued progress between therapy sessions and promote retention of learned skills.

Engage with occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring holistic care as clients navigate their treatment journey.

Maintain meticulous documentation that aligns with both state and federal guidelines to ensure compliance and quality of care.

Embrace ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaborative opportunities with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not mandatory.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based practices for treating individuals of all ages, along with a solid understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.

Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Flexibility in adapting therapeutic techniques to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgment coupled with the ability to innovate solutions around patient needs.
