Childcare Lead Teacher

Cornerstone Learning Center - East Memphis is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support our Pre-K! To be qualified for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer MainJob Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center. Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development. Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program. Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
