Patient Care CoordinatorOptimum Therapies – Eau Claire, WIOptimum Therapies is a locally owned, therapist-led physical therapy practice dedicated to helping people move better, feel better, and live better. With multiple clinic locations across Wisconsin and North Dakota and a team of more than 90 employees, we are committed to providing exceptional care while creating a positive and supportive workplace for our staff. We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Eau Claire clinic team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call our clinic.A typical day may include:Greeting and communicating with patients to provide a positive, supportive experienceScheduling patient appointments and managing daily clinic flowAnswering incoming phone calls from patients and physician officesCollecting insurance co-pays and private payments for servicesEntering and maintaining accurate patient information in our systemsVerifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements prior to patient visitsAssisting with patient flow by preparing treatment areas, coordinating room availability, and supporting daily clinic operationsCollaborating closely with therapists and support staff to ensure excellent patient careRepresenting Optimum Therapies in the community through occasional outreach events, health fairs, and marketing initiativesSchedule & Work EnvironmentApproximately 40 hours per weekMonday through FridayClinic hours range from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.No evenings, weekends, or holidaysTeam-focused environment that values flexibility, support, and work-life balanceWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who brings professionalism, positivity, and strong people skills to our team:A friendly, patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skillsComfortable using computers and multiple software systemsAbility to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentA team player who is willing to jump in and help where neededHonest, dependable, and trustworthyPrevious experience in a healthcare, administrative, customer service, or reception role is preferred.
