Facility: Pelican Rapids Clinic Location: Pelican Rapids, MN Address: 211 E Mill St, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Job Summary The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care to patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic illnesses, promoting health and wellness, and working in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments Obtain and interpret patient histories and diagnostic tests Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within the scope of practice Develop and implement individualized care plans Provide health education and counseling on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices Manage follow-up care and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed Perform minor procedures as appropriate (e.g., wound care, suturing) Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system Participate in quality improvement and practice initiatives Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. If APRN was licensed prior to August 1, 1995, master's degree in nursing is preferred. Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in each state of practice. Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Schedule No holidays, nights or weekends. 1 week of clinic call per month rotating with the other 3 clinicians 1.0 FTE – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8am-5pm with hour lunch and Wednesdays 8am-Noon (PM off for paper work) .9FTE Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8-5pm with hour lunch Clinic only New Grads will be considered If No, how many years’ experience required and in any specific area?
