Job Description:

Security Clearance:

• High Risk / Critical Sensitive IT-1 with Tier 5 investigation and SECRET clearance required at time of proposal.

Education/ Certification Mandatory:

• BS or BA in a technical discipline. Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. DoD-approved 8570/8140 baseline certification, IAT II or IAT III. DLA-approved Computing Environment certification for Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z, Cloud or Microsoft Operating System as applicable.

Work Experience Mandatory:

• Minimum 10 years of specialized experience in Information Processing, with the majority of experience across specialized information-processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
• At least 4 years must be concentrated hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with software.

Education/Certifications Nice To Have:

• WITS preferred, based on PWS scope, additional Microsoft Windows Server / Azure, PowerShell/automation, ServiceNow/ITIL, cloud, or cybersecurity credentials. These are not identified by the Government as separate preferred qualifications.

Work Experience Nice To Have:

• WITS preferred, based on PWS scope, experience with enterprise Windows Server administration; Active Directory/GPO; DNS/DHCP; server build/decommission; load balancing/fault tolerance; ServiceNow; Azure/AWS/milCloud; backup/recovery; patching; DISA STIG/RMF; vulnerability management; PKI; and PowerShell automation in a DoD/DLA environment.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Ensure stable operation of DLA computer software systems and network connections. Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize network software and communications links. Organize and direct configuration and operation of information-management systems. Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues. Conduct capacity/performance analysis and recommend system changes and upgrades. Use automated tools and scripts to improve administrator efficiency and accuracy, develop procedures, and support administrator/user training. Provide local and remote maintenance, upgrades, and new server/application installations across multiple locations. Direct day-to-day system administration, resource optimization, and user assistance. Apply advanced application-networking knowledge, including load balancing and fault tolerance, and perform vulnerability-management activities. Support EWASS Windows operations, cloud/hybrid hosting, patching, STIG/RMF compliance, server build/decommission, backup/recovery, and PowerShell automation as assigned.
