Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Dubuque, IA company to search for a Drafter.
This full-time, 1st shift position is ideal for someone with drafting/CAD experience and a background in construction or a related field. The right candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to understand construction concepts and translate them into accurate drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Create diagrams and drawings using AutoCAD
Complete work tickets and production documentation
Follow up on design questions and details
Work with the drafting and production teams to ensure projects are accurate
Qualifications:
Previous CAD/AutoCAD experience required
Construction or masonry experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to learn company-specific systems and standards
High school diploma or equivalent
