Entry Level Laboratory Technician
Location: Tipton, IN
Pay: $19.00/hour + Overtime + Performance Bonuses
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week
BCforward is hiring Entry Level Laboratory Technicians for a leading agricultural company in Tipton, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start a career in laboratory operations. No previous laboratory experience is required, and paid training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform seed germination and quality testing.
- Evaluate corn, soybean, wheat, and sorghum samples.
- Record test results accurately using a tablet/computer.
- Follow laboratory procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and work area.
- Support other laboratory functions during busy periods.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all testing activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
- No laboratory experience required.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 40 hours/week
- Overtime available during peak season
Incentives
- Earn +$0.50/hour after successfully completing independent evaluation training.
- Earn an additional +$1.00/hour after consistently meeting productivity goals.
- Weekly productivity bonuses available during peak season.
- Weekly attendance bonuses available during peak season.
