Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

Schedule: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

Requirements:
- 2 years of experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in an intermediate care setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies, including heparin drips.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to establish and review patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation may be required prior to start date.
- Background checks and drug screenings may be conducted.
- Dress code: scrubs are typically required.
