IHOP Service Assistants:
Our Service Assistants help keep the restaurant moving. This role supports both the kitchen and dining room by maintaining clean dishware, assisting with sanitation, supporting table bussing, and helping create an organized, fast-paced environment where the team can succeed.
This position plays an important part in food safety, cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience. Successful team members communicate well, stay organized under pressure, and work collaboratively with both front- and back-of-house staff.
This is an active position that requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and safely performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team members may assist with additional restaurant tasks as needed to support daily operations and guest service standards. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and team support.

Service Assistant Requirements:
Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work carefully and efficiently in a high-volume environment
Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and maintain urgency during busy shifts
Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift
Assist in clearing and resetting tables to help maintain dining room flow and guest satisfaction
Ensure clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools remain available for uninterrupted restaurant operations
Clean and maintain dish machines, sinks, kitchen equipment, and work areas
Assist with deliveries, stocking, and general organization when needed
Support both kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
Handle trash removal, recycling, and sanitation duties as part of maintaining a clean facility
