Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely throughout a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for tracking, logging, and recording inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or electric dollies.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, warehouse management systems, or ERP software.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or distribution operations.

About the Role


As a Material Handler I, you will support warehouse and production operations by receiving, moving, tracking, storing, and distributing materials throughout the facility. You will help ensure materials are accurately processed and delivered to the appropriate locations while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities


Material Handling

• Load, unload, move, and transport materials within the warehouse, production floor, or worksite.
• Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing materials for shipment.
• Open containers and verify material quantities and contents.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, racks, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, electric dollies, forklifts, elevators, and other material handling equipment as authorized.

Inventory & Documentation

• Count, weigh, inspect, and verify materials accurately.
• Use computer systems to track, log, verify, and record inventory transactions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization activities.

Production Support

• Deliver materials to workstations and production areas as needed.
• Assist machine operators and production teams by moving materials and equipment.
• Support efficient workflow by ensuring materials are available when required.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Team Support

• Collaborate with warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving teams.
• Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Support additional logistics and material handling tasks as assigned.
