SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Location: Hanson Silo Company, Lake Lillian, MN Job Type: Full-Time

ABOUT US

We are a 110-year-old family-owned manufacturing business known for our commitment to quality, service, and people. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to play a key role in our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify against packing slips.
• Log inventory accurately into ERP or warehouse systems.
• Package and prepare outgoing shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
• Load/unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
• Coordinate shipping schedules with internal departments.
• Generate labels, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
• Communicate with carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills; ERP system experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in a manufacturing setting.
