Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA) Location: Select Specialty Hospital Southeast Ohio - Newark, OH Schedule: PRN / Per Diem / As Needed – 12 Hours – Night Shifts 7:00pm-7:00am Compensation: $19.00 per Hour Qualifications: Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant) About Select Specialty Hospital: Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Responsibilities Perform services for patients including bathing using basin‑less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair Participate in hourly rounds Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years) Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant) BLS is required within 90 days of hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
