External Description Metals USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Greensboro NC. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon steel (plate, beam and tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries. Responsibilities: Generates value added business and introduces products to established clients with the coordination of the Outside Sales Representative. Maintains key customers to ensure a continued base of profitable industrial business. Identifies the target lead decision maker in order to initiate the sale. Provides profitable transactional business through solicitation, quoting, email or other tools to grow the business. Estimates & quotes customer projects; plans and executes the sales plan; responds to the customer's request and collaborates with cross-functional departments to ensure timely delivery of customer product. Physical Demands: Occupation requires being sedentary greater than or equal to 80% of the time (> 7 hours per day) Sitting, standing, hearing, talking, handling/fingering, reach outward, reach above shoulder, walk, climb, squat or kneel, bend Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance. Regularly required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions Position requires some limited travel May be exposed to some of the following working conditions. Position works primarily in an office/cubicle environment.
