Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored therapy interventions that follow each patient's personalized plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment to ensure continuity of care
• Empower patients with education and home exercise programs to maximize their independence
• Keep the supervising Physical Therapist informed of patient status and progress
• Champion safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Texas state PTA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Passion for helping patients restore mobility and achieve their goals

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in physical therapy techniques and patient care
• Thorough documentation skills to accurately track progress
• Knowledge of safety compliance and infection control protocols
• Ability to educate patients on home exercise programs
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the care team
• Patient-centered approach with empathy and professionalism
