About the role: The Bovine Technical Services Veterinarian will be a field-based position with a beef emphasis - based in the Central Great Plains. This position will report to the Veterinary Technical Services Manager and will be responsible for the U.S. Technical Support for Vaxxinova's SRP® vaccines, autogenous vaccines and related diagnostic services. This individual will represent Vaxxinova US during scientific & industry events (presenting when possible), supporting the sales team & customers where needed, be the technical spokesperson for key accounts, and provide consultation and follow up on diagnostic results. The role will provide technical support/voice for marketing projects and serve as a liaison between the R & D and the marketplace. This position requires availability to travel 50% of business time.

- Lead technical meetings with key accounts, able to discuss vaccination programs and provide appropriate diagnostic services.
- Represent Vaxxinova US during scientific events including technical presentations for experts and key opinion leaders.
- Support the current U.S. diagnostic service and actively support further expansion and penetration.
- Provide high level technical support for Vaxxinova SRP and autogenous vaccines in cooperation with the Key Account Managers in the field.
- Provide technical content to produce marketing materials such as brochures, technical bulletins, posters.
- Formulate proposals to the development of new diagnostics or vaccines matching the future requirements of the bovine industry.
- Ensure effective communication and close contact with R&D and Sales & Marketing to ensure alignment concerning the technical needs and priorities of the market.
- Completes other duties as assigned
- DVM degree (or equivalent) is required. (A post-graduate degree or board certification is an advantage.)
- Minimum of five years of clinical bovine practice and/or dairy industry experience (working with bovine practitioners and/or producers) is required.
- Customer focus is essential; ability to communicate (at different levels) to complex customer operations is an advantage.
- A thorough understanding of the cattle industry, the key players and technical needs.
- Ability to deliver high-level technical presentations during industry and scientific events.
- Ability to discuss complicated technical cases in an easy and understandable way.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken) is necessary; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Must be a team player, representing our entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality.
