Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Location : Indianapolis, IN 46260

Job Type : Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts : Nights

Must Have: Active BLS (AHA), ACLS(AHA) and RN License

Responsibilities:

Conduct all steps of the nursing process in accordance with established protocols
Implement and monitor care plans for patients with various cardiac conditions, including but not limited to cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, or any hemodynamically unstable patients requiring pressors
Use heart monitors to assess cardiac functioning
Insert IVs and administer medications as prescribed
Record and communicate updates in the patient's condition to the healthcare team

Education & Experience Requirements:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Tracking surgical supplies.
