Job Full Description

Express is seeking an Industrial Coating Technician for a local company in New Castle, PA!

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, polishing, and masking surfaces as required
Set up and operate coating equipment, monitoring parameters
Mix and maintain solutions according to specified formulas
Inspect coated parts for thickness, adhesion, and surface finish, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of coating processes, including solution compositions and process times.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal finishing or a related field is required.
Experience in chrome plating or a similar metal finishing process preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required

Schedule:

Monday- Friday
7:00AM-3:30PM
Overtime available

Pay:

$17.00+/hr based on experience
