What you'll be doing:
Strategically manage various aspects within the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision
Initiate, coordinate and implement optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all general warehousing standards, and shipping code requirements
Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene and security
Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees
Produce production reports and performance statistics regularly
Maintain company standards of performance, adherence to policy, and operational practices
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree is preferred, an Associate's degree is required, or an equivalent number of years of experience
Proven work experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, holidays, and weekends
Be at least 18 years of age
Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
