Your Role as a CT Technologist

As a CT Tech, you'll play a vital part in diagnostic healthcareperforming cross-sectional imaging studies that assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT Procedures: Safely and efficiently conduct computed tomography scans as ordered by providers.
• Patient Interaction: Provide excellent care and clear communication to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Collaborate with Radiology Team: Work alongside physicians and radiologists for accurate, timely results.
• Operate & Maintain Equipment: Troubleshoot and maintain CT equipment to ensure imaging quality and patient safety.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow ALARA standards and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Documentation: Accurately log procedures and maintain up-to-date imaging records.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • ARRT (R) required.
  • ARRT (CT) preferred or must be obtained within a specified time frame.
  • Texas Medical Board MRT license required.
• Experience: Previous CT experience preferred, but strong new grads are welcome.
• Additional Requirements: BLS certification required.
