Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care in a 29-bed PICU with a focus on cardiac surgical and medical diagnoses.
• Administer critical care treatments including ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, and additional complex therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams like Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Dietitians, and Pediatric Pharmacists.
• Float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Stepdown as required to meet facility needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and administer medications as per standard practices.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled, ensuring comprehensive patient coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU with demonstrated CV and pediatric care expertise.
• Current and valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications in PALS and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred (AHA certification only accepted).
• Proficiency in ECMO, CRRT, and ventricular assist device (VAD) management.
• Experienced in Epic charting system and adherence to electronic documentation practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; first-time travelers accepted.
