About the Role:
Kids Town Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their team in Roy, UT! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, kid-focused environment where you'll make a real difference in young patients' smiles and overall dental health. If you love working with children and have a passion for dentistry, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients
Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist
Build rapport with young patients to create a calm, positive, and comfortable dental experience
Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure care
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental practice management software
Support front office staff with scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus
Dental Assistant certification is great but not required
Radiology certification or ability to be trained
Warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents and guardians
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a committed team player
