Phlebotomist

Position Phlebotomist – 1400 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm, with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at Labcorp. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement. 1 year or more phlebotomist experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay and Benefits Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Pay Range: $23.00 – $33.00 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees scheduled 7 on/7 off are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
