Fabrication Shop Supervisor

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in a structural steel fabrication shop. This role is responsible for supervising welders, fabricators, and machine operators while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.

• Supervise and develop a team of 8-12 fabrication employees.
• Assign work, prioritize production schedules, and monitor project progress.
• Review blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding requirements.
• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 quality standards and OSHA safety regulations.
• Perform quality inspections and address production or quality issues.
• Coordinate materials, equipment maintenance, and production workflow.
• Track labor, productivity, and job progress while communicating updates to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and quality.

• 5+ years of structural or miscellaneous steel fabrication experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and welding knowledge (MIG, Stick, and Flux-Core).
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards and OSHA safety practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• CWI Certification
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Kaizen/5S experience
• Fabrication estimating or nesting software experience

Steel fabrication shop with welding stations, fabrication equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling systems. Overtime may be required based on workload, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallastown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
