As a Leasing Consultant, no two days are exactly the same. You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents while supporting the success of our communities. Responsibilities Include:
- Building relationships with prospective residents by identifying their needs and matching them with the perfect apartment home.
- Conducting apartment tours and showcasing the unique features and benefits of our communities.
- Ensuring model apartments, vacant units, and community spaces are clean, inviting, and ready to impress.
- Assisting with lease applications, renewals, resident files, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Utilizing your marketing and sales skills to generate traffic through social media, outreach marketing, networking, cold calling, and community partnerships.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with current residents to support resident retention.
- Monitoring local market trends and competitor activity through telephone surveys and site visits.
- Supporting the management team with daily operations and special projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle available for use during the workday.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager or other property management software is a plus.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening (including marijuana).
