Campus Support Specialist

Overview As a Campus Support Specialist, you will provide facilities and IT support and assist Unitek employees with computer software, hardware or system problems. The role also supports campus and student servicing departments, working closely with the Campus Director and MIS staff to ensure system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures align with organizational values. Responsibilities Maintain and upkeep building sites and related services, including hanging materials, light facility work, and repairs. Coordinate with co‑workers to assign request orders and advise workers to ensure all repairs are completed properly. Answer technical questions that employees and students may have and resolve problems via telephone, e‑mail, or in person, walking them through the troubleshooting process. Provide technical support to all levels of staff and users, assisting the IT team with computer setup, printer toner changes, hardware and software installs, and repairs. Execute other duties as assigned by the Campus Director, such as book and material distribution, proctoring entrance assessments, supporting student servicing departments, and performing non‑technical campus tasks. Hourly rate: $25‑28/HR Qualifications High school education or equivalency. Minimum 1 year of facilities‑related experience. Excellent coordination and communication skills. General computer knowledge, including hardware repair and setup. Ability to troubleshoot, instruct users, and multitask. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑service focus. Willingness and desire to learn new skills. Capacity to lift at least 20 pounds.
