Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report that details its condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries. Operate the tractor-trailer to reach destinations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and your skills in vehicle maneuvering on the road and at customer locations. Maintain a driver log (either Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer premises. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer. Must meet our organization's MVR and risk rating standards. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
