Sound FX Automotive is looking for dependable, professional Vehicle Delivery Drivers to help keep our vehicles, parts, and projects moving throughout Delmarva. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, likes working around cars, and wants a flexible position with a great team. As a Vehicle Delivery Driver, you’ll spend much of your day behind the wheel—transporting customer vehicles between our Sound FX locations, picking up and delivering parts, and helping our Service Team with the day-to-day logistics that keep our shops running. No sales. No desk. No complicated automotive experience required. Just be reliable, take care of the vehicles you’re trusted with, and represent Sound FX well wherever the road takes you. What You’ll Do Our Vehicle Delivery Drivers help connect our Lewes and Bridgeville locations and work with customers, vendors, and business partners throughout Delmarva. Your responsibilities will include: Transporting customer vehicles between Sound FX locations Picking up and delivering vehicles throughout the Delmarva area Picking up and delivering parts and materials from vendors and business partners Driving a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and other vehicles Carefully inspecting and protecting vehicles while they’re in your care Following assigned routes and schedules Using GPS and navigation tools to reach destinations efficiently Coordinating with our Service Team regarding pickups and deliveries Working with other drivers when a vehicle transfer requires multiple people Representing Sound FX professionally when interacting with customers and business partners Assisting the Service Department with additional tasks as needed Some days may have a set schedule. Others may require a little flexibility as customer vehicles and project needs change throughout the day. What We’re Looking For The most important things we’re looking for are reliability, professionalism, and good judgment. You should: Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Be at least 18 years old Be a safe, confident, and responsible driver Be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles Be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles Be comfortable using GPS and navigation apps Be able to read and follow instructions Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and Sound FX teammates Have a friendly, professional attitude Be dependable and arrive when you’re scheduled Have some flexibility with your availability, including occasional short-notice needs Be comfortable walking, standing, and working outside when necessary You don’t need automotive customization experience to succeed in this position.
