Fajita Pete's is looking for motivated and dependable Shift Leads to help oversee daily operations, support team members, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience.

This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership journey while gaining valuable management experience in a growing restaurant company.

This is a hands-on leadership position. Our Shift Leads work side-by-side with the team every day. Whether it's preparing food, helping execute catering orders, supporting pickup and delivery operations, coaching team members, or jumping into the kitchen during a busy rush, our leaders are actively involved in the day-to-day success of the restaurant.

About Fajita Pete's

Fajita Pete's is a fast-growing Tex-Mex restaurant specializing in fresh, made-to-order fajitas, family meals, catering, pickup, and delivery. Unlike traditional restaurants, the majority of our business comes from catering events, corporate lunches, family gatherings, and off-premise dining.

Our team focuses on preparing high-quality food, executing large catering orders, and delivering exceptional service for guests who choose pickup or delivery. Shift Leads play a critical role in ensuring catering orders are prepared accurately, packaged properly, and ready on time while helping maintain smooth daily operations.

What You'll Do Lead the Team

• Lead by example and uphold company standards

• Coach, motivate, and support team members during each shift

• Assist with training and developing new employees

• Help create a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment

• Support managers with daily operational goals

Drive Operations

• Ensure smooth restaurant operations throughout your shift

• Support both Front of House and Back of House as needed

• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards

• Complete operational checklists and line checks

• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities

• Ensure company procedures are followed consistently

Catering & Order Execution

• Coordinate and oversee catering orders to ensure accuracy and on-time completion

• Assist with packaging, quality control, and delivery readiness

• Support high-volume lunch periods and catering production

• Ensure pickup and delivery orders are completed accurately and efficiently

Create Great Guest Experiences

• Deliver outstanding hospitality to every guest

• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally

• Ensure order accuracy and efficient service

• Help maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred

• Leadership experience is a plus but not required

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
