Cutting Line Operator

The Job Center Staffing is hiring associates on 3rd shift machine operator currently in Fairfield. This is a great opportunity for a direct hire placement. Compensation / shift/ benefits for cutting line operator.

Hourly wage: $20.28 per hour

Shift: 12hr continental shift 6pm-6am

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tending to the machines to cut, bend, or straighten material.
• Examining completed workpieces and sorting defective pieces according to types of flaws
• Start and stop machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
• Set up, operate or tend multiple machines to cut material

Requirements for cutting line operator

• Knowledge of machines and tools
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to keep up with a fast pace changing environment
• Attention to detail
