Registered Nurse Clinical Lead Pediatric CCU

Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center Department/Specialty: Pediatric CCU Schedule: Nights | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Shift Leadership: Lead, assign, and monitor nursing staff during shifts, utilizing independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care (Pediatric CCU experience and leadership preferred). Operations & Compliance: Manage daily patient/physician dynamics, resolve clinical complaints, and maintain productivity standards while justifying any budget or staffing variances. Resource Management: Facilitate the availability of all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies required for optimal unit functionality. Staff Development: Oversee shift education and provide direct input on the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit personnel. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
