Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician for a locums opportunity in Georgia, starting January 2027. This role involves scheduled clinic hours and night call, providing critical care in an 8-bed ICU and performing pulmonary consults. Practice Info

• Hospital setting
• Day shift coverage in an 8-bed ICU
• Pulmonary consults during day shift
• EMR: Epic
• Support staff includes in-house hospitalists, ER physicians, respiratory therapy, and ICU nursing
• Adult med/surg cases - No OB, pediatrics, trauma

Responsibilities

• Perform tracheal intubation
• Perform central lines
• Perform chest tubes
• Perform arterial lines
• Perform dialysis catheter placement
• Perform thoracentesis
• Perform lumbar puncture
• Perform conscious sedation
• Perform bronchoscopy
• Handle admissions
• Provide cross coverage
• Conduct pulmonary consults

Shift & Schedule

• January 2027 - Ongoing
• 7am-7pm xihmbke onsite with 7pm-7am overnight call from home (offsite)
• Tuesday-Monday coverage
• Weekend coverage required
• Days per month: 30

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
• Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship
• Georgia State License
• Clean file; no previous malpractice claims
• ACLS
• Georgia DEA
• Provider must be aware and available to start coverage in January 2027
