Position Summary Cell therapy is an exciting, groundbreaking frontier in cancer treatment. The strategy and business operations team at the Bothell CAR‑T manufacturing facility applies project‑management best practices to support strategic and operational initiatives that expand and improve manufacturing operations for patients. Job Description This senior‑manager role leads planning and execution of major cross‑functional projects, workstreams, and programs for the manufacturing site. The project manager partners with leads and sponsors to implement an organized, structured approach, delivering complex changes and supporting the maturation of the site’s project‑management processes, tools, and methodologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute planning approaches for large, complex, and high‑visibility projects, including project structure, governance, activities, and schedules. Identify stakeholders and drive conversations to align on clear project requirements, scope, and deliverables. Leverage site and global resources to generate the activities needed to produce project deliverables. Secure internal and external resources and support capital asset requests and budget management where applicable. Develop and manage detailed project schedules; track execution to ensure on‑time delivery and quality compliance. Plan and manage project team workshops and meetings, documenting outcomes, risks, issues, and action items. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans; drive escalation and resolution of issues. Control changes to scope and timeline in conjunction with project sponsors and governing bodies. Prepare and deliver presentations and status updates to stakeholders, ensuring ongoing visibility. Capture and share project information using online knowledge‑management tools. Lead cutover planning and execution to ensure regulatory and cGMP compliance. Manage operational handoff and project closure activities in line with best practices. Promote excellence in project‑management capabilities through knowledge sharing, innovation, and process improvement. Champion opportunities for more efficient planning and execution of future projects. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, information technology, business, or related field. 8+ years of business experience, including at least 2 years of direct project‑management experience; preferred 3 years in biopharma or health science. Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and business‑management principles. Experience in cell therapy, GMP, FDA‑regulated, or other regulated environments preferred. Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in OneNote and SharePoint. SharePoint page development and Smartsheet skills helpful. High level of knowledge and competency applying predictive/waterfall, iterative, and hybrid project‑management methodologies. PMP certification highly desirable. Experience driving large, complex projects with minimal direction and high accountability from initiation to closure. Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage and communicate large volumes of information across diverse stakeholders. Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills; skilled at navigating a global matrix organization and influencing others. Analytical problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills; quickly assess impacts of new information. Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment; able to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously and prioritize across competing demands. A passion for learning and improvement with demonstrated actions to advance project‑management proficiency. A team player who builds positive relationships and drives collaboration in a PMO work environment. Experience in project‑management consulting a plus. Travel requirements: none. Compensation Overview Bothell, WA – US: $135,200 – $163,832 per year. The starting range is for full‑time employees; additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
