Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Northampton, Massachusetts. This position involves functioning as a circulating nurse in a surgical setting, advocating for patients and delivering safe, effective care across a diverse patient population including pre-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups. The role requires flexibility with shift hours and responsibilities including call coverage.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts. Call required, roughly three weeknights a month from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. and one weekend day a month, Saturday or Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
• Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, 1-3 years Operating Room experience, Massachusetts licensure, and minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be able to interact effectively with patients of various age groups and backgrounds, meeting their physiologic and functional needs. The RN will perform the role of Circulating Nurse and act as a patient advocate during surgical procedures.
