Pay: Up to $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Patient Care Coordinators in Whitehall and Bridgeport, WV for a local healthcare provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly, organized professional who enjoys helping patients and providing exceptional customer service in a medical office environment .


As a Patient Care Coordinator , you will serve as an important point of contact for patients while assisting with appointment scheduling, incoming calls, patient referrals, records, documentation, and front office operations .


Previous medical or healthcare experience is preferred. Candidates with strong customer service, receptionist, administrative, or office experience are also encouraged to apply.

Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to patient questions and inquiries.
• Greet patients and create a friendly, welcoming office environment.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Manage calendars and help maintain an efficient appointment schedule.
• Follow up on patient leads and referrals .
• Assist with patient screening as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Enter and update information in office and healthcare systems.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and office staff.
• Provide excellent patient service and front desk support .
• Assist with general medical office and administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with patient information.

Patient Care Coordinator Qualifications

• Previous medical office, healthcare, patient services, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codes is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable communicating with patients by phone and in person.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to learn new healthcare and office systems quickly.
