We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (Med-Surg/Tele) for a 13-week night-shift contract in Morristown, Vermont. The RN will provide age-specific direct patient care using the nursing process and established Medical-Surgical and Telemetry standards of practice.

This position includes responsibility for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of nursing care. The RN will also provide appropriate leadership and delegate patient-care responsibilities to qualified team members.

• Provide age-specific direct nursing care to assigned Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.

• Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care.

• Monitor patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions in accordance with established clinical standards.

• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

• Provide nursing leadership and appropriately delegate patient-care responsibilities to other qualified staff members.

• Less Than 1 Year of RN Experience Accepted Per Requisition.

• Current, Active RN License Required; Specific State Licensure Requirement Must Be Verified.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS Certification Required.

• Current PALS or ENPC Certification and De-Escalation Training Required Prior to Contract Start; A Booked Course at Clinical Orientation May Be Accepted as Specified.

This contract opportunity is suited for a Med-Surg/Telemetry RN comfortable providing direct patient care on varied night shifts while supporting effective team-based nursing care.
