As an ER Veterinary Technician, youll play an important role in pets lives by providing care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

What Youll Do

As an ER Veterinary Technician, youll play a vital role in life ? saving care by:

• Supporting veterinarians during emergency cases
• Delivering emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to injured or critical patients
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical and post ? operative care
• Preparing patients and instruments for emergency procedures
• Obtaining and monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure and SpO?
• Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, tissue) and performing in ? house diagnostics
• Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records
• Supporting patient flow through admissions, treatment, and discharge
• Maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment, and exam areas
• Using safe restraint techniques and following hospital protocols
• Collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, and support teams

What Were Looking For

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials strongly encouraged
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
• Strong critical ? thinking and problem ? solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail in fast ? moving situations
• Comfort working with ICU patients and advanced diagnostics
