Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour Job Schedule Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous presence. Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
