Our organization, recognized as the largest and most comprehensive academic health system in New Jersey, is in search of a Surgical Oncologist to enhance our expanding team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC). This position presents a distinctive opportunity to engage in cutting-edge surgical care while making a significant impact on cancer services within one of the state's most integrated health systems. Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or eligible in General Surgery with fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology

Position Highlights:

  • Clinical Excellence & Program Development
    • Deliver exceptional care in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgical oncology
    • Participate in shared weekend and holiday on-call duties, including surgical oncology coverage for other northern sites as required
    • Contribute to the growth and promotion of the surgical oncology service line in Northern New Jersey
    • Engage with the CBMC Cancer Committee and multidisciplinary tumor boards

The expected salary range for this role is between $300,000 and $600,000 annually.

The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications, skill set, and professional experience.
