Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient assignment at ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Attend required staff meetings as scheduled
• Complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
