Cook and Café Cook
$13 .50 per hour
4:30am to 11:00am and 11:00am to 8:00pm
Requirements:
- Previous or current work experience in the food service industry
- Texas Food Handler card required
- Must be able to monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety
- Cook according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served.
- Must be able to cook for quantities of 200 people for each meal.
- Candidate must have great prioritizing skills, extremely focused and able to multi-task.
- Rotate and store food supplies
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment.
- Apportion and serve food to facility residents, employees, or patrons
- Must have flexibility to work weekends and Holidays
Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vaccination /shot history available
- Covid vaccination card
- Ability to work in a hospital environment
