Key Qualifications:

• Arizona Special Education teaching license (required)
• ELA certification (required)
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (required)
• Experience or passion for working with high school students in a resource setting
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction in a high school resource room setting
• Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with a multidisciplinary team
• Adapt and deliver curriculum to support varying learning needs in ELA and other core subjects
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Communicate consistently with parents, general education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain a respectful, positive classroom environment that promotes inclusivity and student growth
• Collaborate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights regarding students’ needs

This position offers an engaging weekday schedule from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday.
