Job Description Unloads and breaks down freight (eg.trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.) Sorts and organizes freight Operate various types of material handling equipment Sort, repack, and label freight Identify unusable pallets Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided) Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.) Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition Pay Range: $600 - $1,200 per week Pay Scale: Based on productivity Shift First Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM Third Shift: Saturday to Monday, 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM Job Requirements 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train) Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack) Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards Excellent customer service required Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak volume Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers) Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day Effective communication skills Safety shoes are required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Other duties as assigned Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for employees and their families Retirement Plans: A 401k with employer matching Voluntary benefits: Life, accident, and disability products available for employee and dependents Bonus Eligibility Internal Employee Referral Program – Earn up to $1,000 per referral based on program eligibility and milestone requirements.Offer ends August 17th Retention Bonus – Earn up to $1,000 based on program eligibility and milestone requirements.
