Patrick McClain founded Patsco Windshield Repair in August, 1995. Patsco started out as a part time job that eventually turned into full time.
I never planned on getting into a business. My wife and I was just having fun, camping out on the beach near Galveston on July 4, 1995. After showering, we were walking back to the truck, our feet were covered with sand and I said out loud, they should make sandals to keep the stand off your feet. Within a week, I made the first prototype sandals, then filed for a patent which was granted.
Out of a need to finance the production of the sandals, I started a windshield repair business on weekends to generate extra money.
My job at the time refused to give me time off to show my sandals, so I quit and started repairing windshields full time. Within one year we had 4 locations and are now in several cities in Texas.
A few years ago I discovered a simpler way to fix windshields without drilling or using an injector. I invented The Patsco Patch, it’s easy to use and effective in repairing rock chips.

Describing the vision behind the emergence of Patsco, the founder Patrick McClain explains: “I had been searching for a simpler method to repair windshields for a few years when I came across one that did not need drilling or the use of an injector. This way, I managed to devise the idea for the Patsco Patch, which is both an efficient and simple method of fixing rock chips.”
Notwithstanding, its innovative features, it is very straightforward to use the Patsco Patch. To install the kit, there are solely four steps in this procedure: stick it on, press it on, peel it off, and seal it, and you are done with it!! Using this Windshield Repair Patch, repairing a chip on your vehicle's glass is a straightforward and uncomplicated process. In this manner, it will only take you about twenty minutes to repair the rock chip in your windshield and maintain the structure of your vehicle.
Overall, this cutting-edge window chip repair kit eliminates the need for drills or injectors, and it comes with two patches and liquid glass resin. As the core proof of the innovation of this product, the Patsco Windshield Repair Patch for Innovative Auto Glass Repair was awarded Patent No.: US 10,946,624.
