Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Wage/Salary Range: $26.16 per. hr.Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on RO skids, pumps, motors, valves, and piping systemsAssist with membrane cleaning (CIP systems) and membrane change-outsInspect and service high-pressure pumps, cartridge filters, and housingLubricate, adjust, and replace mechanical components (bearings, seals, belts)Support maintenance of chemical feed systems (acid, caustic, antiscalant)Support calibration of flow meters, pressure transducers, pH, ORP, and conductivity analyzersReplace or repair sensors, wiring, and basic electrical componentsSupport maintenance of brine ponds, evaporators, and concentrating handling systemsPerform scheduled PM tasks on pumps, motors, and treatment systemsIdentify leaks, corrosion, scaling, or abnormal vibrationsReplace gaskets, seals, filters, and worn componentsMaintain tools and spare parts inventoryFollow OSHA safety standards, HAZCOM, and plant safety proceduresProperly use PPE (respirators, goggles, gloves—especially around acids/caustics)Participate in lockout/tagout (LOTO) and confined space entry procedures (if applicable)Safely handle and store treatment chemicalsMaintain cleanliness of equipment rooms, chemical storage areas, and lab spacesAssist with minor building repairs (lighting, plumbing, structural)Keep outdoor areas (including ponds and piping corridors) safe and accessibleRecord maintenance activities, readings, and repairs in logs or CMMSReport equipment issues or safety concerns promptlyCommunicate with operators, supervisors, and contractorsRequired (Minimum Necessary) QualificationsEducation Requirements: High school diploma or GED (required)Trade school or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or water systems (preferred but not required)Level of Experience Requirements: 0–2 years of general maintenance or industrial experienceEntry-level candidates accepted if mechanically inclinedExperience in water treatment or RO systems is a plus (not mandatory).Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsAbility to use hand and power tools safelyBasic understanding of:Pumps, valves, and piping systemsMechanical repairs (gaskets, seals, filters)Familiarity with basic electrical concepts (motors, switches) is helpfulKnowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – SOP of operational tasks, CIP, operations, etc. (within 12 months of hire)Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry-standard software.Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally.Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information.Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally.Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.Problem-solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions.Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others.
